A cream curry with spices that bring out the flavour of fresh cream and vegetables from Hokkaido. Available in 1kg.

Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 5)

  • 100g Hokkaido White Curry Flakes
  • 200g Meat (Chicken, pork, etc)
  • 300g onions
  • 150g carrots & potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 500ml water
  • 200ml milk
  • Rice

Directions

  1. Cook rice accordingly to your own preference.
  2. Cut meat of your choice, onions, potatoes and carrots into bite-size pieces.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a pot and add onions, carrots, potatoes and meat. Stir-fry them until they are lightly coated with oil.
  4. Add water and simmer on medium to high heat for about 10 minutes.  Remove any foam if necessary.
  5. Add potatoes and simmer for another 10mins.
  6. Turn off the heat, and add the Hokkaido White Curry Flakes in slowly while stirring the mixture. 
  7. Turn on the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes on low to medium heat. Stirring occasionally until it thickens.
  8. Add milk and simmer for 5 mins.

Optional: You can prepare your own meat or seafood accordingly. Best served with chicken or pork katsu or ebi fry.
