Japanese Name: 鰹 つゆ
An authentic all-purpose soup made by blending plenty of bonito flakes with honjyozo soya sauce. Concentrated seasoning with authentically brewed soy sauce and plenty of real bonito dashi. Just dilute the concentrated stock with water to create delicious umami flavour in a variety of dishes. Excellent for not just soba dipping but also for rice, soup, or many simmered dishes. You can easily make full-bodied soup just by diluting this product.

Cook Nikujaga (Meat & Potatoes) in Gourmet Way
Ingredients
- Thinly cut beef or pork
- 5 small potatoes
- 1/2 medium carrot
- 1 small onion
- 250 ml Futaba Katsuo Tsuyu
- 3 tbsp sake
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 100 g Shirataki Noodle
- 1/2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potato into chunk size and soak them in a bowl of water.
- Peel and slice carrots and onions.
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat and place onion, carrot and potato to cook.
- Once the onion, carrot and potato are cooked, add in the beef/pork.
- When the beef/pork have turned light brown, add Futaba Katsuo Tsuyu and bring to boil
- Cook for 15 minutes until the potato has become soft
- Add sake, mirin and soy sauce.
- Place Shirataki noodles and simmer until the sauce reduces.
- Ready to serve!
